At Jencel, our aim is to provide a fast & efficient service. Customer satisfaction is a priority and if there is an occasional error or problem you can be confident we will do our best to resolve it. Please let us know within a couple of days of any shortages, mistakes, or damaged goods.

The findings and beads are only made of sterling silver if stated. The sterling beads and findings will have their own category.
All findings comply to the EEC Low Nickel regulations.

We have made every effort to display & describe all the items accurately. The colour of the beads may vary slightly from the photographs due to lighting conditions and angles, and also the patterns on some stones may vary. The photos show the beads and findings larger than real size, so that you can see them in detail.

All goods are sold under United Kingdom legislation.



We accept payment through Paypal or, if you live in the uk, by personal cheque or postal order. If you pay by cheque we will need to wait until the cheque has cleared before we despatch your order.

Paypal is an entirely secure way or paying online and means we can take just about any credit card in the world (and most debit cards too).  Please note: You do not need a Paypal account to pay by Paypal –At the shopping cart screen you will be presented with something like the image below. Simply click "Continue" to pay without setting up an account.

To pay by cheque or postal order please use the shopping cart in the normal way to keep track of what you’re buying, but instead of going to Checkout, print your Shopping Cart, including postage, and post it to us with your cheque.


Postage & Packing

For orders up to £10, UK postage is £1.50.

For orders between £10 and £30, UK postage is £2.00.

For orders over £30, UK postage is free.

If you pay by Paypal, these amounts will be automatically added to you Shopping Cart. If you pay by cheque, please include the relevant postage amount.

Non UK Customers - Please select the relevant Postage and Packing rates for your country on the International Postage page. You will still benefit from a reduced rate for orders over £30, and can choose to insure your parcel if you wish. If you don't choose insurance, your parcel will be sent uninsured, and at your own risk.



All orders under £70 will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Delivery, and will be posted to you within 2 working days of receiving your order.

Orders over £70 will be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, and will require a signature on delivery.

Please contact us if you have not received your goods within 10 working days.


We aim to keep stock levels high enough to meet demand, but occasionally items sell out before we have a chance to order more stock.
Occasionally it may happen that an item goes out of stock before we are able to mark it as such, if for example we have a run on an item. If this happens we will contact you. If the item is due in stock in a few days we can send it then. If not we can send you a credit note, a substitute item of the same value or, if you have paid by Paypal, a refund. For small amounts of out of stocks, we may substitute a similar item, or an equivalent amount of something else that you have ordered. If we contact you, and do not hear from you within a couple of days, we won't delay your order any longer, but will post it to you with either a substitute or a refund for the relevant amount.


We hope you are delighted with your purchase however you have the right to return an item within 7 days of receiving it, for a refund. Goods must be returned unused and in the original packaging.  If you return goods to us we can only refund the price of the item. Our postage costs in sending you the item, or your postage costs in returning it to us, are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or damaged in transit. Refunds will be made through Paypal, so if you have paid by cheque, we will need an email address to make the refund.

If there are any problems with your goods (eg. any missing, faulty or damaged items) please let us know within 5 days.

Special orders (ie. an item, or a quantity of an item, that we have ordered for you at your request) are not returnable.


Your personal details e.g. address & email address will not be used for any other purpose other than for your purchase.
We are an independent retail shop, not linked to any other organisation, and your details will not be shared with or passed on by us any other party.
Because we use Paypal, your credit or debit card details do not come to our website, and nobody at Jencel has access to them


Your Consumer Rights

Your statutory rights as a consumer are protected by the relevant UK legislation.
